RESA® State or Provincial President of the Year™ is a category that all RESA® State/Provincial Presidents are automatically nominated for.

Nominees must accept and submit the nomination to complete entry.

Submissions & Eligibility Guidelines:

  • Last year’s winner is not eligible.
  • All nominees will answer questions about their leadership role.
  • All State and Provincial Presidents will automatically be nominated and be responsible for accepting their nomination.

Judging:

  • Members will vote for the State/Provincial President they wish to win. 
  • In the event of a tie, the National Board of Directors will vote again on the tied finalists.

Nominees will be given access to claim their nomination and are required to provide:

  • A professional bio.

  • Please list your state or provincial position with RESA®.

  • Describe how you provide regular outreach to chapter leaders in their states/provinces to provide support and to identify & encourage the formation of new chapters.

  • How do you demonstrate a passion for the industry and a willingness to support RESA®’s mission, values and goals for the betterment of the entire industry.

  • How did you create a strong communication plan with the chapters in their states to reinforce objectives to be met throughout the year?

  • Why do you feel it is important to share ideas and solutions to issues and challenges faced by local chapters and/or members?

  • How did you mentor your chapter or any members in chapters in your state or province?

  • What did you do to encourage chapter growth in your state or province?
