Chapter of the Year™ is a category for all RESA® Chapters to enter.

Submissions & Eligibility Guidelines:

• Last year’s winner is not eligible to submit in the same category.
• All current RESA® Chapters will automatically be nominated.
• A board member must accept the nomination and complete the submission process.

Chapters Will Submit:

• Chapters will answer the following questions regarding their chapters activities for the year.
  • What was your chapter’s proudest accomplishment?
  • Did your chapter participate in any community service projects? If so, please explain.
  • What did your chapter do as a group to educate agents or homeowners on the local level?
  • Was the chapter affiliated with your Local Real Estate Association, and/or Women’s Council of Realtors®? Please explain.
  • How has your chapter provided a reliable network of support locally?
  • Did your chapter develop relationships with affiliate/sponsors/partners? If so, please explain how these relationships were beneficial.
  • In your opinion, how has your chapter contributed to advancing professionalism and excellence locally?
  • Does your chapter collect and share local staging statistics?
  • Does your chapter have volunteer opportunities to encourage member involvement?
  • Does your chapter offer mentoring to your members?
  • List your most popular meeting of the year.
  • What is the average number of attendees at your chapter meetings?
  • What do you feel was the most effective way to promote your chapter meetings?
  • Was your chapter active on social media platforms? Please explain any social media strategy and accomplishments.
  • How many of your members represented your chapter at the last RESACON?
  • Describe your chapter’s membership growth for the year. Include any factors you believe contributed to your chapter’s growth. 
  • Why do you feel your chapter should be the chapter of the year?
• Chapters will submit three photos from chapter meetings.

Judging:

• RESA® HQ will verify information submitted.
• The RESA® BOD will review and vote to determine the winner.
