Lori Kim Polk was a pioneer in our industry for over a decade. During this time, she was a champion to the new stager and worked tirelessly to offer support by mentoring, coaching and simply being a sounding board to anyone who asked. 

She served in several leadership positions within RESA® and believed in working towards unity in our industry as well as advancing professionalism and excellence in staging. Lori was a philanthropist and dedicated her resources to K-9 rescue organizations.

Candidates for this award should have similar traits and be like-minded in his/her efforts to follow Lori Kim’s excellent example.

Nomination Process: 

  • RESA® members meeting the below qualifications may be nominated by peers or staff.
  • You may nominate as many people as you like for this category.
  • You do not have to be a RESA® member to nominate someone.
  • You are required to provide the nominee’s name, email and company name.
  • Your nominee will be sent an email advising them of their nomination and offering the opportunity to accept. Several notices are sent. RESA® is not responsible for nominees failing to respond due to any reason. 

Qualifications Include:

  • Worked in the industry for more than 10 years.
  • Willingness to mentor others.
  • Commitment to advancing professionalism & excellence in staging.
  • Candidates must have completed a minimum of two positions or served two terms on a committee, in either local, state, or national leadership roles within RESA® over the past five years. Additionally, they must have continuously maintained their RESA® membership without any interruptions during the recent five-year period.
  • Participates in philanthropic activities.
  • Current RESA® member in good standing.

Nominees will be given access to claim their nomination and are required to provide:

  • Verification you have worked in the industry for more than 10 years.
  • How they mentor others.
  • At least two positions or two terms of committee work, local, state, or national leadership roles completed within RESA®.
  • How you participate in philanthropic activities.
  • Your social media handles.
  • Photo of yourself (jpg).
  • Company logo (jpg).
